Bethesda

Bethesda is located in southern Montgomery County in Maryland, just Northwest from Washington DC. Bethesda has won awards such as #1 on Forbes Magazine's list of ‘America's most educated small towns' (Jan 2009) and #11 on CNNMoney.com's list of "Top-earning American towns" (July 2008). It is also home to the National Institute of Health, Bethesda Naval Medical Center and Marriott International as well as several others.

The Bethesda area has a host of housing options. From high-rise condos near the downtown center where Wisconsin Ave meets East-West Hwy and Old Georgetown Road; to larger single-family homes; Bethesda has it all. With an average list price close to $1.4 Million; these single-family homes are generally not for the 1st-time homebuyer; but the move-up buyer. Condos for sale average closer to the 500k mark; but as low as 300k and upwards over 1 Million.

The downtown area of Bethesda has a large variety of restaurants, bars and shopping options as well as movie theatres and fitness clubs.

Bethesda is served by the Redline Metro at the Bethesda and Medical Center stations and is also near the I-495 Beltway - providing easy access to Virginia.
